You know a lot of companies say safety matters because it’s a hot topic in the aggregate industry. Mellott preaches safety matters because it does. We started out as a small family-owned operation where everybody had each other’s back, and that mentality and philosophy continues today. Mellott is a company that will always watch out for one another and keep each other safe, and as a company safety on the job is our number one value, and always will be.
Mellott formed a Safety Team that meets regularly to continually move in a forward direction regarding safe practices. That group created a safety program that honors employees who strive to make their work environment safer for themselves and their coworkers. With that being said, drum roll please…
