On March 18-19, Mellott hosted the 2025 Leadership and Learning Summit at our Warfordsburg, PA campus, bringing together leaders from across our family of brands, including Mellott, Marion Machine, KastRock, NorX, and Southern Machinery. This two-day event was a valuable opportunity for collaboration, professional development, and reaffirming our commitment to delivering the best support and expertise to our customers.
The Summit kicked off with a visit to our Manufacturing department to show our immense appreciation to the hard working men and women who go above and beyond every day working around the clock to meet demand while maintaining our standard of excellence.
Our time together focused on discussing our mission and vision, ensuring that every team member is aligned with our core purpose: to provide unmatched service and solutions in the industry. Throughout the summit, we engaged in insightful presentations and updates from teams leading new projects and innovations, further strengthening our ability to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We also kept things fun with a little old fashioned competition, with awards for our top presenters. Our “Grand Champion” award was presented to our Parts and Wear Materials presentation team for their engaging and exciting presentation. Congrats, guys!
A key highlight of the event was the opportunity to gain product-specific training and knowledge, equipping our teams with the latest insights to better serve our customers. We were also honored to welcome top leaders from Metso, both from Finland and the U.S., including Metso Aggregate BA President, Marrku Simula, Heikki Metsala,President Consumables, Juha Yli-Petays, Senior Vice President, Global Distribution Management and Steve Cianci, VP Americas, Distribution Management, Aggregates, who delivered an inspiring address, reinforcing our shared commitment to innovation and excellence.
Additionally, we had the privilege of hosting McLanahan Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Sean McLanahan, who shared his perspective on the industry’s future and our valued partnership. It was a special moment to welcome Sean and his daughter for lunch and a tour of our facilities, showcasing the capabilities and dedication of the Mellott team.
As we reflect on this summit, we take immense pride in the strength of our partnerships and the collective knowledge that fuels our growth. By aligning with industry-leading companies like Metso and McLanahan, we continue to provide the best products, services, and support to our customers.
The 2025 Leadership and Learning Summit was more than just an event—it was a reaffirmation of our dedication to excellence, continuous improvement, and customer success. We look forward to carrying this momentum forward, ensuring that Mellott and our partners remain the trusted source our customers rely on for expertise and innovation in the aggregates industry.
