On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Mellott proudly sponsored and participated in the Annual Vulcan Materials Quarry Crusher Run at Concord Quarry. This unique event combined athleticism, community spirit, and a breathtaking course winding through the rugged terrain of one of Vulcan’s active quarries. It was a day filled with energy, camaraderie, and philanthropy, all for a great cause.
The Quarry Crusher Run is unlike any other road race. Participants tackle a challenging course that descends into the heart of the quarry, showcasing steep grades, tough climbs, and one-of-a-kind views. Runners and walkers alike embraced the opportunity to connect with the quarry’s natural beauty while pushing their physical limits.
Mellott Employees Proudly Participate
Mellott’s own Bailey Mills and Jamie Bryner laced up their running shoes and stepped up to the challenge. Their participation highlighted Mellott’s dedication to engaging with the communities where we live and work. In an impressive feat of athleticism, Bailey Mills brought home first place in the Men’s Division, proudly representing the Mellott name at the top of the leaderboard. Congratulations, Bailey!
