As a leader in morning safety meetings, Coty ensures all team members understand their tasks and addresses any questions before work begins. His active participation in the Manufacturing safety committee and innovative ideas have enhanced our safety programs. Coty’s dedication is evident in his consistent submission of safety action forms and incident/near-miss reports, underscoring his genuine care for the well-being of his colleagues.
Integrity: Sean (Fabrication Team Lead – (Southern Machinery)

Sean has quickly risen as a leader, showcasing promptness, reliability, and a positive attitude. Since joining Mellott as a Welder in January 2023 and being promoted to Team Lead in April, Sean has consistently inspired trust and confidence among his peers. His methodical approach to work and strong safety orientation make him a model of integrity in our values-based culture.

Lindsey goes above and beyond in her role, building strong relationships with partners, customers, and vendors. Representing three generations of her family at Mellott, Lindsey embodies the dedication that defines our company’s culture.
Respect: John (Service)
Teamwork, Fulfillment, and Self-esteem:
John seamlessly transitioned from the crushing department to the Service department, excelling as a service technician. His willingness to tackle challenges and his dedication to learning have earned him the respect of his teammates and customers. John’s strong work ethic and positive attitude make him an invaluable part of our team.
Excellence: Tim (Engineering)
Achieving Optimal Results:
As MC Product Manager, Tim navigated over 30,000 manufacturing hours to deliver exceptional results. His commitment to quality and leadership across departments ensured schedules were met and products adhered to Mellott’s high standards. Tim’s extra efforts, including nights and weekends, underscore his pursuit of excellence.

Team of the Year
The Kershaw Crew has set the standard for contract crushing teams with their exceptional productivity and safety record. Under the leadership of Steve, Randy, Stephen, and Seth, the team consistently meets customer demands while maintaining a strong safety culture, evidenced by just one MSHA citation in the last four years. Their teamwork and dedication are truly exemplary.
